Every Marumi Pet by MIMI is lovingly handmade by me, Maru, using soft Chenille Yarn, plush stuffing, and safety eyes. Each one is carefully packaged and sent out with love, so that when it reaches you, it’s ready to be hugged and cherished.

To make sure your new companion stays safe and looking their best, here are some important tips:

✂️ Removing the Tag

If your Marumi Pet comes with a MIMI tag. When removing it, please:

Cut only the thin thread attaching the tag to your plushie.

Do not cut the thick yarn — this holds your plushie together, and cutting it could cause it to unravel.

🧼 Washing Your Marumi Pet

Because they’re made with soft chenille yarn, Marumi Pets need gentle care:

White yarn plushies will naturally get dirty faster, especially if you use them as keychains on bags, purses, or backpacks. Please keep this in mind when choosing your Marumi.

Do not machine wash. Always hand wash your plushie.

Use lukewarm water — never hot.

Move gently, avoiding scrubbing or twisting.

If needed, add just a tiny drop of mild soap to the water.

Rinse carefully to make sure no soap is left behind.

Leave your Marumi Pet to air dry completely before snuggling again.
